Institut de Recherche Indépendant de Conciliation Santé et Société
IRICSS is a non-governmental research organization, non-profit, able to receive donations and legacies. Its aim is to disseminate and communicate to the scientific community, as well as to the general public, the research work it develops on the analysis of controversial Health-Society objects, on conciliation objects, and on Health-Society representations. IRICSS also aims to involve among its members, researchers or health professionals with opposing representations, in a logic of health-society conciliation
Axis 1: Research on controversial objects, analysis of controversy, and study of social representations (studied objects: Homeopathy, vaccination)
Axe 2: Self-healing, an object of conciliation (defined as the convergence of placebo, psychological and behavioral effects, leading to an improvement of health situation)
Axe 3: Health-society representations, origin and sociological determinants (theories of social representations and social thought)

Purpose of the Institut
ARTICLE 2 : This organization aims to disseminate and communicate nationally and internationally scientific research results concerning the analysis of controversial health-society objects, objects of conciliation, and health-society representations. It also aims to involve researchers in a logic of conciliation.
